2/3/2014 20:57:00 TURKEY: Turkey's parliament passed a bill to close down all the private preparatory schools as part of government's reform to abolish "unhealthy" educational system. Passing the bill has everyone's intention because a large number of the schools are owned by Fethullah Gülen, founder of Gülen Movement, and reports indicate that they are huge part of Gülen's source of income. This new decision will undoubtedly not be welcomed by Gülen, and it may heat up the current protests in Turkey. Political analysts are circulating that proposing this bill might be part of the disputes between Gülen and Recep Tayyip Erdogan as Gülen is accused many times by the prime minister to be the main factor behind anything happening in Turkey from the corruption probe to the recent protests. The reason for closing down more than 4000 private schools is because the government claims that they are unfair and unhealthy. “Those who benefit from these courses are the kids of rich families in big cities,” Erdogan supports the bill. According to the passed bill which is now a law to be implemented, all the private preparatory school must shut down by September 1, 2014. http://pukmedia.com/EN/EN_Direje.aspx?Jimare=19103 |

Gulen isnt about islam its about spreading turkish nationalism/kemalism under the banner of islam, a very dangerous school. |
