Did you notice Bakur is using Ala Rengin more and more? Why is this? Did one of YPG/PKK leaders told them too, or is it just sudden realization that Ala Rengin is, indeed, the one and only true flag that represents entire Kurdistan? :)

The decision to wave Ala Rengin is the people's choice. It has always been the people's choice heval. You have to stop thinking PKK is forcing a flag over others. Some wave tricolor, other waves Ala Rengin. But yes, more and more Bakûris are waving Ala Rengin.

im seeing like so many ala rengins in bakur since peshmerga had its "parade", now i see a better future of bakur and a bigger chance becoming once united country instead of a kurdish federation.

Ala Rengîn means ''The Colorful Flag''.
Ala = Flag
Rengîn = Colorful

It's some sort of a nickname for the Kurdish flag (Alaya Kurdistanê)

Names for the Kurdish flag:

Ala Rengîn
Alay Keskesor / Keskesoruzerd
Alay Kurdistan
Alaya Kurdistanê

Kesk e Sor = Green and Red
Keskesoruzerd = Green, Red and Yellow

The 21-pointed star represents the ancient Kurdish religions (symbol used in Zoroastranism, Yazdanism and Yezidi)

The most important issue for the kurds in turkey should be political consodilation. The number of kurdish voters will rise even more in the next 20 years while the number of turkish voters may stagnate at some point in the next 20 years. Its only now that political battle between kurds and turks will start because from now you will witness the demographic effect of a birth intense kurdish generation while the ebbing turkish birth rate will have its price. There may be a nationalistic backlash but it wont change the course of history.
I agree. The political battle just begun and the winners will be Kurds in the end. Why should Kurds give their support for any turkish government? We should start supporting, hoping, dreaming and working for a Kurdish government which also includes other ethnic groups.

I dont know if any of you recall my post from last year about why I thought HDP would pass the 10%. I just saw on turkish tv that some experts were agreeing that 'HDP is emerging as the leftist alternative in turkey'. This was exactly what I wrote about in my post some months ago. During AKP rule, especially the last couple of years, more and more people are growing poor, without job and without possibilities. The economy is going to hell and the gap between rich and poor is growing bigger. The funny thing is that in Bakur and turkey, leftism is not a big thing. Usually, the poor and working class people tend to find peace and calmness in religion and nationalism. But with HDP on the scene now, people will naturally tend towards leftism and socialism as they hope a socialist model could cure their problem. I dont think there would have been a better time for HDP to go to election as a party. HDP took a big risk bettings its money on leftism. I remember many members saying that HDP should grow more nationalist and religious but these members do not understand that there are already these kind of parties on the political scene. HDP bet its money on the right horse this time and this was very well planned.

yeah I don't really think bakur will ever be separate from Turkey after this. They will be in turkey, we should focus on the dictator countries, we only have hope there.
