Was talking to someone on the net and was saying "maybe the iraqi army when they ran the iraqi Hizbullah got those US weapons"....

No Iraqi army RAN from sunni cities leaving 10 million USD worth of gears to ISIS, these shia militia Hizbullah are from the shia cities so this means IRaqi army gifted it to them since they live in the same region there has been no need to run from anyone there.

Apparently the protesters entered the green zone through one of the gates which is controlled by Peshmerga. Why is the Peshmerga responsbile for guarding the iraqi parliament?

Islamic State 'destroys Syria airbase' used by Russia

24 May 2016 Last updated at 10:57 BST

A strategically significant Syrian airbase, used by Russia, appears to have been almost completely destroyed - according to new satellite imagery exclusively seen by the BBC.

The Tiyas facility - near the recently re-captured city of Palmyra in Syria - was repeatedly hit - with the so-called Islamic State presumed to be behind the attack.

Four Russia combat helicopters and around 20 supply trucks were destroyed in the bombardment. It is not clear if any people died.

US geopolitical intelligence company Stratfor gave the images to BBC.

Stratfor analyst Sim Tack explained what they revealed.

Surprised nobody has reacted to that incident, haha ^^ The precision shown in those pictures are quite something (how and what?), and the fact that we have heard so little of it from twitter gives us even more questions.

Hmm, seems like the Stratfor link takes you to the sub page automatically.
Here, try this;

If that doesn't work, just search for "Discerning Damage to a Crucial Syrian Air Base" on google.

Six Turkish Companies Supplying ISIS With Chemical Weapons

Millet Press
May 26, 2016

According to Haber Turk news site Russia exposed to UN names of 6 Turkish companies responsible for supplying chemical materials to the Islamic State (ISIS or ISIL) group to be used against Syrian forces not loyal to Turkey such as Kurdish forces. Moscow accused 6 Turkish companies of funneling chemical weapons to the terrorist group also known as ISIS or ISIL.

“The main supplier of chemical weapons and military equipment to ISIL fighters is Turkey, which is doing so through nongovernmental organizations,” wrote Russian Ambassador Vitaly Churkin, in a letter to the U.N. Security Council that was made public recently.

The Kremlin said Turkey has allowed $1.9 million worth of both explosives and chemicals to be smuggled across its border with Syria, the Associated Press reported. Churkin alleged Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization allowed the weapons transfers to be made by the Besar Foundation, the Iyilikder Foundation and the Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms, Agence France-Presse reported. The letter also named two companies, Tevhid Bilisim Merkezi and Trend Limited Sirketi, alleging they were providing materials to groups in Syria.

“Total supplies to terrorists through Turkey were as follows in 2015: 2,500 tons of ammonium nitrate [worth approximately $788,700]; 456 tons of potassium nitrate [$468,700]; 75 tons of aluminium powder [$496,500]; sodium nitrate [$19,400]; glycerine [$102,500]; and nitric acid [$34,000],” Churkin said in the letter, Russian news agency Tass reported.

ISIS and other terrorist Islamist groups such as Al-Nusra Front, Ahrar al-Sham, Jaish al-Islam have all used chemical weapons against Kurdish forces and civilians in Aleppo. Video released by Islamist groups militants showing use of Chemical gas against Kurdish neighborhoods of Aleppo.

Iranian military men playing ‘remarkable role’ in Fallujah fighting

By Rudaw 14 hours ago

SAQLAWIYAH, Iraq – Iranian military advisers are playing “a remarkable” role in the fight to liberate the Iraqi city of Fallujah from the Islamic State group (ISIS), a Shiite commander whose militia is involved in the fighting told Rudaw.

“The role of our brothers, the Iranian advisers, is remarkable. They have great military skills to face the enemy,” Abu-Kawsar, a commander of the Saraya al-Jihad militia, said. He added that their number was “not a lot.”

Last Monday the Iraqi Army began an offensive on Fallujah, west of Baghdad and the first city seized by ISIS when it stormed across Iraq in June 2014. Shiite and Sunni militias allied with the Iraqi Army are also involved in the fighting, with air support provided by the US-led coalition.

On Tuesday, the Al-Masdar news website reported that Qassem Suleimani, commander of Iran’s elite Quds force who exercises immense influence in Iraq, was laying out the military plans for the recapture of Fallujah.

It published a photograph of Suleimani, saying it showed him outside Fallujah, sitting and talking with the leaders of several Iraqi paramilitary groups.

Last month, a senior Iranian commander reportedly announced that Tehran would be sending Special Force commandos as “advisors” to Iraq.

Iranian troops and advisors are known to be present both in Iraq and Syria. In Iraq they back the Shiite-led government and in Syria Tehran has military advisors and forces fighting on the side of embattled President Bashar al-Assad.

Iran’s official media have also reported military casualties in Iraq and Syria. In the latest deaths, 13 Iranian soldiers were reported killed and 21 wounded in the Syrian city of Aleppo earlier this month.

Suleimani has defended his country’s interventions in Iraq and Syria, saying Tehran is protecting the lives of fellow Muslims. He has rejected claims his country was pursuing a policy of adventurism in the Middle East.

Suleimani is credited with successfully leading the Shiite Hashd al-Shaabi militia in against ISIS in Diyala and Tikrit, reclaiming both provinces for the Iraqi government in 2015.
