Arrest of 25 wanted militants in Mosul

i-racki army forces carried out in the city of Mosul raids and searches, which resulted in the arrest of 25 wanted militants .
In this regard Colonel Qasim spokesman of leadership of the Second Division of the i-racki army in Mosul, "that the force under the command of the Second Infantry Division carried out during the past two days, an operation of raids and searches to hunt down terrorists and wanted, where the force in a number of districts of Mosul arrested 15 wanted militants of the so-called Islamic state of i-rack and 10 wanted in accordance with the fourth Article of the fighting-terrorism Act. "
He also noted that "The operation resulted in capture of a number of weapons and explosives."

i-racki forces stormed Hawija and continued disobedience

Al-Jazeera correspondent in i-rack, said army troops and police stormed the square sit-in Hawija, southwest of Kirkuk. This coincides with a general strike witnessed by cities in the provinces of Anbar and Salah al-Din, Diyala and Nineveh and Kirkuk in protest against the policies of the Maliki government.

The spokesman Square Hawija Hamid al-Jubouri said the raid, which has dawn on Tuesday resulted in the wounding and killing of about 200 protesters who had agreed in principle that the Committee of deputies representing the town's House of Representatives, accompanied by officers of the army and the police searched the scene to confirm that the protestors are not armed.

Jubouri had said earlier that the delegation is scheduled to arrive the United Nations continued to sit Square besieged by i-racki forces four days ago for situations where the protesters.

The city of Fallujah in Anbar province has witnessed yesterday explosion, killing three people and wounding 16 others, according to security and medical sources, the blast damaged a restaurant was number of victims يرتادونه the moment of the accident.

UN envoy calls for self- restraint in Hawija

Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in i-rack, Martin Kobler, today Tuesday, April 23, called on the i-racki security forces to show self- restraint in maintaining law and order in al- Hawija .
Kobler is watching closely the situation in Hawija, also continues his contacts with all concerned parties, calling on demonstrators to "maintain the peaceful nature of the demonstrations."
The UN envoy stressed the need to hand over those who are responsible for killing and wounding many civilians and members of the security forces in April 19th events.

Parliament to discuss latest developments in Hawija

MP Mohammed al-Khalidi said that the Parliament will discuss at its scheduled meeting, the latest developments in Hawija, as pointed out that the Presidency of the Parliament will hold a meeting with the heads of the political blocks before today’s session.
A noteworthy to mention, the clashes today between security forces and demonstrators in Hawija southwest of Kirkuk, led to the death and the injury of approximately 270 people.

Clashes take place between i-racki Army unit and terrorists

In a clash between terrorists and a Kurdish Unit of the i-rack Army, a soldier is killed and four were wounded.
In Sulaiman Bag, near Dwz town, today evening April 23, clashes happened and all killed and wounded are Kurds.
Violence erupted when security forces raided an anti-government protest camp in Hawija, near Kirkuk.
27 people were killed in clashes between protesters and security forces while 13 gunmen died in revenge attacks on the army, a security source told PUKmedia.

Education minister Mohammed Ali Tamim, from Hawijah where the clashes took place, resigned in the wake of the violence, becoming the third Sunni minister to do so since March, as a result of the violence against the civilian protesters.
