On the latest tensions in the sliced off areas between Kurdistan and iraq one of the mediators to calm the situation down is the US.

A highly senior official told (PUKmedia) that in order to force Maliki to stop his militarizing and creating tension in the sliced off areas, US has decided to put political and military pressures on Maliki.

According to the senior official one of the pressures is holding the supply of arms and ammunition to the US weapons in the hand of Maliki forces, including canons and tanks as well as delaying the arrival of the jetfighters.

Some military experts emphasize iraq does not have the capability of holding and maintaining a war as it will run out of ammunition and armaments for its weapon quite quickly.

On this same issue the US ambassedor paid a visit to KRG and met with both of Talabani and Barzani.
