MOSCOW, June 28 (RIA Novosti) - Russia will supply over 10 fully armed and equipped Mi-28NE Night Hunter attack helicopters to i-rack under a multi-billion dollar agreement, a representative of Russia’s state arms exporter told RIA Novosti on Friday.

Russia and i-rack signed a $4.3 billion agreement on cooperation in the defense and technology sector in 2012, and this is the first time the number of Night Hunters under the contract has been disclosed.

Alexander Mikheyev, deputy general director at Russia’s state arms exporter Rosoboronexport, said that the helicopter contract also covers pilot and technical personnel training and the delivery of essential weapons systems.
This is the first contract with i-rack under the package agreement, he added.

And the KRG is still postponing the annexation of disputed territories and the subsequent declaration of independence?

Azamat is right. KRG can`t postpone these things anymore.
i-rack will get Ka-52s too soon. Some reports say AH-64s too. (I dont understand why they would want to get apaches if they already are getting MI-28NE and KA-52,which operate perfectly together). KRG needs to take the disputed areas before the end of this year if they are planning on doing it with force. (i-rack will get shitloads of advanced weapons by the end of this year and start of next year).

Where does it say Kurdistan is importing Russian weapons?
I am confused by God's wisdom:
In this world of States
Why have the Kurds remained Stateless, dispossessed,
What for have they all become fugitives, condemned?

And the Americans and Europeans are selling weapons to Turkey, the FSA, as well as i-rack. Your point?

If KRG cant buy the same weapons it needs to buy the anti-weapons to shoot these things down if they dare cross the airspace of the Kurdish areas outside of KRG administration.
