Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that the swearing in of Hasan Rouhani as the new Iranian president wouldn't change what he believes are Tehran's goals.

They will attack Iran very soon, but I truly hope it will be after Rojava is fully liberated and free. This is the first time ever that I hope that attack on one of our enemies will be deferred after our battle in other part of Kurdistan!

Actually, the Middle East is in fire. ;) It's a very great opportunity for Israel to attack Persia now.

We are all under estimating Iran.

Alan is right.

I hate to say this, but a sole Israeli strike on Iran is a bluff. The chances of failing such a operation is HUGE. First of all,Irans nuclear facilities have a bunker like defense, whom Israel does not have any bombs that can with 100% certanty destroy. Their best bomb for the work is GBU-28,in that case the penetrating capability would still not be enough to destroy the facilities. In fact,We would be lucky if it even penetrates the defense. Israel needs better bombs from the US to increase its chances of penetration of Irans defenses.

Second,Israel would have to use 90 (+-) planes to carry out the attack (Strike bombers,Refueling planes, escort fighters, electronic warfare planes). Plus, the weigh of equipment each plane have and the work they have to do would burn tons of fuel. Therefore Israel needs large amouts of refueling planes for the operation. The thing is Israel does not have enough refueling planes to compleete the attack,so they need Support from US (either buy or lend).

Irans air defense system and air force is also not weak. They could complicate the attack,if not compleetly stop it. If Iran have some luck they might force the strike bombers to drop their extra equipment before the bombing on the facilities start. If the planes are confronted by Iranian MiG-29s they would be forced to drop them. With such heavy equipment they would be destroyed in a dogfight with MiG-29s,even tho the Israeli pilots are far better trained and their aircraft have better upgrades. Therefore they have to drop their equipment for the dogfight and destroy the MiGs.
Iran also have missiles (and terror organisations) that it could use to retaliate against Israel.

An attack on Iran without US support is not possible (well,it is possible, but will most likely fail). A full scale invasion, even with US,is also not likely. Therefore the most likely scenario is an internal uprising (only 50% of Iran is persian).

The only way to make Iran fall is via its people pretty much like how Shah was removed, hence the tightening of the sanctions.

But the sanctions is argued to have the opposite effect on support for the IRI.

yes if the americans and israelis were not dumb they should aim on promoting nationalism among iran's ethnic groups. After all persians are less than 50% of the population.
